[...] Mark was hanging out backstage at the Grand Old Opry with Earl’s drummer. Earl came in for a little while then asked Mark to come out on stage with him so they could demonstrate the two different styles of banjo they played. Mark was 15 years old at the time and it was his first of many times he’d play on the Opry stage. Mark writes about this story on his blog. [...]

Finally, I located the information I was searching for. I have been doing research on this subject, and for four days I keep finding web-sites that are supposed to have what I am looking for, only to be discouraged with the lack of what I had to have. I wish I could have located your web-site sooner! I had about 25% of what I needed and your web-site has that, and the rest of what I needed to complete my research. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Hi Mark,

I can't imagine playing with such a great artist at such a young age. Earl must have thought that you were someone special too.

Both you and Sue make great music and are special people. Be sure to keep in mind the impact you have on others so you can help them along.....like me. ;-)

See you in April!
